    IEEE Society for Students

    Hello All,

Well this really goes to those who are in school. I am planning on starting an IEEE BioMedical Engineering Society for Students in my school (BTW i am a fourth year comp.sci. student) and would like to get this project up and running by September.

I would like to know, however, if your school has done anything like this (i am sure there are tons of IEEE societies for students out there) and if so, what sort of activities are they persuing?

are they successful and why/why not? what do students generally want to see in these societies.

BTW, this is just part of an extensive research that I am carrying at the moment before lunching this project. I sincerely appreciate your time, comments and directions!

lastly, do you even think this has potentials to be successful; would it really attract and grab students' attention?

    cheers,
    Ben
