    I think I saw a tv show (maybe CSI?) that had this happen in it.

    I wanted to add more crap democrats say
    Of course they do. So do Republicans. So do Green Party members. So do Libertarians (as much as I hate to admit it). So does everyone else. Conversely, most of them also make good points on occasion.

    The death was tragic. She was clearly in the wrong for letting him just bleed to death like that... But really, it has nothing to do with race.

    you're just reaching for a reason to $$$$$
    Took the words out of my mouth Govtcheez.

    Like I said I don’t know where it went wrong. I read a site that said 30 years ago, nothing more. I agreed with other things on the site (mainly gun laws), so I’m assuming ill agree with him on whatever happened 30 years after the constitution.
    Come one now... You must have a better reason than that.

    As for what happened 30 years ago... Nixon administration, Vietnam war, perhaps?
    The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

    I'm not saying that, either. I'm pro-gun. It's just how you worded things.

    I wanted to add more crap democrats say, I was on a computer which one a tech site, it just popped in my head.
    My problem with the whole Gore/internet thing is that it has no relevance today. Most people won't argue that this was the right thing to say.

    We = America
    Them = more or less (mostly less), the world

    I really should have made reference, to the war.

    When other countries need us, they kiss our a$$. When we need them (mostly for convenience), their no where to be found or their screaming at us since we didn’t try enough tea parties for them.
    When America acts unilaterally, we discount the opinions of every other country, relevant or not. They don't want us, clearly the most powerful country in the world, to be running the world by ourselves. Not only does it concentrate power into our hands (and out of theirs), it makes our interests look more selfish.

    We don't need other countries to help us rule the world. And they don't need us to police the world. The problem is that a geopolitical division in the world causes unneeded tarriffs, resists progress in global causes, and creates general animosity through the world.

    The bottom line is that the Bush administration is creating problems which a little diplomacy could avoid. (Examples: the complaint by the European Union on farm subsidies, the Kyoto global warming treaty, the Nuclear test-ban treaty the administration considered abandoning, the nuclear defense treaty the administration abandoned, the United States' refusal to sign a treaty banning child soldiers, the refusal to apologize to China for the crash-landing on their soil)

    ygfperson, thanks for posting something that’s not flame bait. You didn’t bash and you didn’t whine, thanks.

    the Kyoto global warming treaty
    This inst the kind of news I tend to follow that much, but I’m not a believer in global warming. Pollution would be nice to cut back on; we have been trying for a while now. Seems pretty good so far. Feel free to add something.

    the Nuclear test-ban treaty the administration considered abandoning
    Personally, I don’t like the fact that anyone is trying to stop us from testing anything. It is dangerous but it sets a bad president. We should keep it at an absolute minimum, but not because of another country.

    the nuclear defense treaty the administration abandoned,
    For defense we should use every thing we have! Nukes aren’t the best thing to use (aftermath) but if the jobs has to be done it will do it, we have a lot of them.

    the refusal to apologize to China for the crash-landing on their soil
    Did you hear what there pilots do regularly? They intentionally flew way to close to ours. That would make any one nervous, they didn’t help any. They should have apologized to us.

    the United States' refusal to sign a treaty banning child soldiers
    I haven’t heard this one before. There’s age limit on enlisting, I’m sure there’s one for drafting to.

    I can see of some people would like all these treaties, but why? If we have the law on our books do we really have to sign with another country? A country should know if it should get involved, and not because of paper work. I guess you could call it good will, but not that useful.

    Come one now... You must have a better reason than that.
    no, i dont. its alot of history to go threw and this isnt popular stuff. maybe im searching wrong(ive only tried a couple times).

    As for what happened 30 years ago... Nixon administration, Vietnam war, perhaps?
    i ment 30 years after america was founded. what you listed wasnt exactly the best times for the us either(except for nixon, he wasnt that bad. still beats clinton).

    I'm not European.........

    The US plane was over territory that China claims. Everybody admits that the US was spying on China and refused to stop when confronted. An accident occurred when both sides refused to compromise.

    A Chinese pilot was killed.

    If it were a US airman killed by a Chinese spy plane over the US, what would happen?

    A summary of the incident.

    I So totally agree, and wich country likes to see all power being concentrated into one??? (try to put your mind if you are an american into a european mind).
    (^just human nature)

    If i would translate my history book wich we had this year you would be suprised to see what is all in there.
    I mean our teachers (and so do our books) are constantly bashing the USA, you could call it a brainwashing operation (although thats a little too drastic).

    We do have free minds, but i really think they are very very biased because of our environment where we grow up.

    ::side-note::
    Thats why i was thinking yesterday of a project. Assume you could create 2 completely the same humans, they would also have the same opinions, ideas etc.
    Raise one child in the US, the other in Europe. Put as much money in the US child as in the Europe child (so take in account how much you would do with a $ in europe for instance).

    Then after 18 years i would like to see the difference between them...

    I know this would be an impossible thing to do but i can imagine it all in my head <= Would be a great experiment, not that i kick on experimenting with humans but the result would be awesome.

    ::back to reality::

    PS: sorry if this looked a stressfull message , thats because im getting stressed (i get my results today -wether im graduated or not ).

    what you want people that seen a sinlge person outside their hut to make decisions for the work!? there called superpowers, theres a reason why they get the title. alot of countries have their own problems to deal with.

    The US plane was over territory that China claims. Everybody admits that the US was spying on China and refused to stop when confronted. An accident occurred when both sides refused to compromise.
    they flew to close, they knew better. it almost happened before. it was there country to they should of escorted our plane out or just shot it down. we have deals so that other countries can fly over our bases(i hate to use this example, area 51), id love to hear china had one with us. but that wouldnt be blaming us so it would never be mentioned on tv or anything.

    If i would translate my history book wich we had this year you would be suprised to see what is all in there.
    most are. it doesnt really matter what level your on. there was more on king than the founding of america in mine. also, clinton was a bad president, that part was just bull. the biggest discrace gets more pages than washington.

    Then after 18 years i would like to see the difference between them...
    european: hates the us, asks us for everything, whines, surrenders many times a day.
    american: good chance he will turn out to be a liberal/democrat(see european), learn to hate europeans, hate the past(how many times have we help those idiots, how many times have we paid the bill)

    You imply (or however that is written) that when i said
    ::Then after 18 years i would like to see the difference between them...:: i was after some US bashing.

    I already have done enough US bashing in some previous threads, resulting in European bashing.
    I didnt said anything i said i would like to see the diff between em.
    You are making an elephant out of an ant (wich even doesnt exist).

    I wish i lived in my own Utopia. (notice : OWN)

    ::edit::
    Ive just reread the thing youve said (wich i quoted). If you read it carefully without dropping one or 2 words then you will notice/ or even wont notice, how you think.
