Concerts.
The Warped Tour was in town today. This tour has always blown.
Lollapalooza comes in August. I probably won't go to that, either.
But, I do want to. Audioslave, and, and, woohoo, Jane's Addiction
will be there. Also performing at the festival (in Salt Lake City):
Incubus (bleh), The Donnas (Hate 'em), Jurrassic 5 (semi-rad, but
Cypress Hill would have been better), and A Perfect Circle (better
than Tool, but I don't know if I'd like them without their bass
player -- she's with Zwan now. I don't like when band members
change; it makes the band seem like a business). Compared to
past Lollapaloozas, this one doesn't sound great. They really
need to kick The Donnas off the tour; they belong on a Warped
Tour stage with all those other crappy bands. Replace The Donnas
with Homer getting shot in the tummy with a Cannon, and I'll go.
Edit: Plus, it's being sponsored by freaking Xbox. Boo!
Radiohead. Wow, they're actually coming to Utah. Again, I probably
won't be going (I don't really get out much), but it's still rad.
Phish. My cousin just went to a Phish show in Texas; he's a hippy.
Back when Garcia died, he traveled to San Francisco (I think that's
where it was) for his memorial. I'm not really a Phish fan, so I
don't think I'll make it to this one, either. Actually, I know I won't
be going to this one.
Dave Matthews Band. I like the music, but I don't have sandals
or Khaki shorts; I wouldn't fit in with the other 25,000 people
there.
Blue Man Group, August 4th. Now that sounds entertaining. I
wonder if they're going to perform their Pentium III act. That'd
be suh-weet.

It's (RAtM - Zach) + Chris Cornell (Soundgarden).

I haven't been to a concert since last year, but I'm going to a local concert on the 28th along with the Warped Tour (I only like a few of the bands there out of the maybe 30+ band: The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Park, Over It, Counterfit, Thrice, and that's about it...) on July 15th. The only other concerts I've been to is last year's Warped Tour, where I watched The Movielife, Allister, Home Grown, The Starting Line, Finch, Bad Religion, New Found Glory, and Midtown, two small local shows, then two different concerts last November. One of the concerts had Further Seems Forever, Something Corporate, Finch, and New Found Glory. The other concert had Northstar, The Reunion Show, Taking Back Sunday, and The Starting Line. I might be going to a concert in early July where Senses Fail, Brand New, and a few other bands will be there.
ha, my first post in like over a month...woowee!
