Compaq owns HP. Their printers suck too.

I don't think it would be correct to say that compaq owns HP (in fact it would be more correct to say HP owns Compaq). I couldn't disagree more with you, my HP printer is great.

Intel sucks.

I'd like to see what the world would be like without intel.

While I can't entirely disagree with your reply, and this thread seems pretty useless, it would be much better to keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything positive to say.

Hmm..according to your link, AMD is part of TCPA

The TCPA was founded 1999 by Compaq, HP, IBM, Intel and Microsoft. But in the meantime around 200 companies joined them. You will find Adobe, AMD, Fujitsu-Siemens, Gateway, Motorola, Samsung, Toshiba and many other well known companies. IBM already sells first desktops and notebooks with integrated TPM.

I have a lot of respect for India's development, but...

How does the american society view Indians? I can't answer that cause I can't speak for everyone but I will tell you this, there is still alot of racism in the US, alot. On multiple occasions I've heard people make racial slurs towards Indians and hey I don't get out much. So imagine all the people who don't make those slurs and keep it to themselves. There is alot of hate out there, you just gotta learn to deal with it.

Ditto. Cant speak for US as I am in UK, but it still is really bad here. So much in fact that in North of England even the National front won a few council seats.

The NF Winning council seats isnt the end of the world for decent people (in fact it means squat), but I can tell you it is a warning.

The point? You posting this thread (without a valid reason) can only stir up trouble and dissent. I mean what the hell were you thinking? Should I post what white (am I allowed to say white) people have invented-just for the hell of it? No, if I did I would be called racist etc-it only seems to work one way round....funny that huh?

I wouldn't. How old is AMD? Can we assume that without Intel's work giving them a starting point, they would now be releasing the NEW, BLAZING FAST 4.33 MHZ PROCESSOR? Even if you don't like Intel now, they got the industry started...

It is everywhere. That doesn't mean its not the US's problem though, its everyone's problem.
