i still belive that there are ways to pass a virus in that ways..
I believe that you are wrong. Can you show us any technical reports saying that it can be done?

It cannot pass virus because that is how the technology of HTML is.. and your browser which is an intrepreter will not accept files and execute them without your permission...

those are vulnerabilities to DoS attacks... not a virus passing to your computer... there is a huge difference

Though i can't see the post, i still remember it. The man who post it said that a virus can't hide behind an image, the webpage isn't downloaded in you hard disk etc.
First of all, i took images as an example. But to continue with it, the virus can be attached on it, and when you download the page, you download the picture and the virus. Then the virus won't ask anybody and will start to act automatically on your computer.
About the place where you download the page, i still insist that it's your hard disk ( and not your RAM for example ). A folder is created in your hard disk and whenever you want, connected or not, you can find that folder and the components of the pages you visited.
So, you can take viruses from a website.
Ohh boy.. ok you are right.. we agree ... can you stop it nowOriginally posted by AProg

AProg: send me your IP address and I'll check to see if you have a virus in your monitor from a picture you viewed...

From a pure webpage ? No way. You can be either misinformed, lazy or have buggy software that allows execution of arbitrary code on your system. You can configure your system in a way that is harmful. But catching a virus from a HTML page or by opening Java applets or flash with a notepad or simply saving it to disk is as likely as catching a cold when dead. So, you can take viruses from a website.

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."
When in doubt, read the FAQ.
Then ask a smart question.
hahahaha it was so silly.. i got through level 11.. It is veey easy and silly... just a little thinking will get you through....
any one have any idea bout level 12... seems simple.. no hidden thing but not a clue on how to get in
vasanth - You said a little thinking gets you past level 11. Is everything you need contained in the code, or does it involve thinking of the "stupid" passwords that people use (like "admin")?
Away.
