I've taken many courses that I hate, either in school or in college, and I know it doesn't feel good... But I'm sure anyone can handle any course( ofcourse if it's not too difficult or advanced for him ), and I don't think that the chemistry you are talking in school is very difficult to you...

Yes, chemistry requires memorization, but if you work on it hard enough you will be able to memorize it... although when I took chemistry, they tried to avoid question that depend 100% on memorization...

As long as you are studying( either in school or in college ), you will have courses that you won't like very much, for example I study computer sciece, and it's the major that I wanted all of my life, and still I have some courses that are university requirments that I don't like, but I'm doing well, I'm not getting A's in them like other major courses, but the lowest grade I got in one of them was C , and that wasn't very bad, and if worked a little bit harder I would've had a much better grade...

You should not feel bad about it, try to enjoy it, and believe me chemistry isn't that bad...

And Good Luck.
