Back when I was doing VB, I found that VB Explorer had good forums.

I always used VBCode.com, but I've never tried VB.NET because it looks really really rediculous.

    MSDN isnt that bad either

www.allapi.net (or .com?) is really good for using the API, they have most (wlel alot, i dont know about most) of the api documented with code samples for each and everything. good stuff

    thanks

thanks a lot guys, really appreciate that. I'm in my senior year, trying to finish my IS degree. I've taken cobol and C++ now i need the networking stuff, vb, and I hope java.

wish me luck, and I will be visiting here often to stay up to date on the C++ world. I'm really more on the business apps side of C, but I really love the language.

    Thanks again for the help.
