Speaking of which, right now I just finished installing it on my upstairs computer . I think it's wonderful. At the moment it's installing VS.NET beta 2, so I came down here to surf the net.
Pro. If I'm getting warez I'm getting the best!
You can't pirate WinXP with product activation. Anyway, it is a good OS. Basically it's Win2k with a few toys.
My friend already has a full warez copy of XP. Took him 30 hours to download.

You get to use it for about 30 days before product activation kicks in.
Well I don't know if he'll activate it (doubt it), but in 30 days there could be a crack for the activation.

I don't think you have a choice with this OS. Half the purpose of this OS is to stop pirates. I don't think it would be so easy to thwart product activation. It's not like Win2k.
True, but if crackers have had access to the beta's (more than likely) it could be done. Quite a feat, but still possible.

Nope, it can and has been cracked.
Not a good idea to download cracked software. Certain things are okay to download such as mp3's, movies, and edocuments, but not system files and stuff of that nature.
Well I must admit I have some warez software, but I don't really go into that stuff anymore. Basically because what you get is pretty dodgy (if you have a problem with the software you can't get tech support from the vendor), and I like to have access to all of the help files etc (like with MSVC++).
