    Halflife 2 trailer

Especially the second one shows off some of the nice stuff.
The graphics looks nice (considering the low quality of the movies) but what really impresses me is the environment. Objects falls naturally, you can use objects instead of just weapons to kill enemies or at least halt their movement (see the 2:ndmovie and you'll see), the enemy AI is really intelligent (Enemy chases the player - Player locks the door - Enemy tries to open the door - Door is locked so he shoots though the window instead - Player hides behind some debris - Enemy decides to break though the door).
    I can't wait...

Don't always believe the trailers. The Tribes 2 trailer made it look like everyone had perfect teamwork and in reality everyone just goes off and doe his own thing.

That has nothing to do with AI.

HL2, TF2, and CS2 have a lot to live up to... they better, or else me and my henchmen will storm Valve headquaters, torch and pitchfork style!

As far as I know, TF2 is going to be integrated into HL2 just as TFC is in HL now. It's my own personal opinion that Valve is also planning to do the same for CS2, which would explain the dragging their feet on everything.

It's also my understanding that TF2 is going to be more "real" than the current TFC mod, and if CS2 is true, would probably have a similar look and feel as it would have, to really bring the 2 together in style.

It would work great from the standpoint that people are already familiar with HL, TF, and CS, so organizing a complete "next generation" of the games would bring Valve no problems holding onto the "most popular online game" title(s).

    Uh, YA it does.
That could be one of the AI's better moments. It could be dumb as a rock normally in the finished version for all we know.

well the AI in HL was great

i heard the same thing for TF2, that it's all realistic, sort of like a modern day Firearms...but I didn't know it would be integrated into HL...good stuff

The trailers for Tribes2 don't show game AI, they show a network game.

I'm more excited about Doom III, it all comes down to multi-player, once you beat SP, it's over.
So, I think Doom III will have better multi-play and it has better graphics.
    I'll probably still get both.

Well CheesyMoo, don't get your hopes up, Doom III is a single player game, DOOM III may or may not have very LIMITED multiplay.

There is supposedly going to be a follow-up multiplayer patch, but still, multiplayer is NOT id's principal concern, at least not yet. Valve have a massive commitment to Half-Life's multiplayer, which one would expect will continue on to Half-Life 2.

Edit: there is speculation the multiplayer will be an EXPANSION rather than a patch
