    Hooray for flunked term papers!

So, I get my paper back from my prof, a 12 page paper that took me 2 months worth of research to write, and I get an F.

My professor says that I did not use any "primary sources." I could almost understand this, except that all of the primary sources on the Ismailites are in freaking arabic; a few are translated into french. Hooray!!!!

I'm sure that they're not all in Arabic, and the professor probably would have considered a translation as a primary source as well. If not...why the heck did you choose that topic?
    Away.

Teachers ........ me off too. They think they are always right, and that their decision counts all of the time. In fact, my physics teacher gives us quizes which are extremely difficult, and not what we studied for. So if we study a unit on light, our final asks types of questions which our workbooks never asked... then when the whole class fails she looks at us as if it's our fault... I think she does it because it makes her feel superior since she is so fat that she pants when she has to stand in front of the class (not joking), which makes me want to pick up my chair and smash it over her head or something. Anyways, there are some good teachers, and then there are some real pricks that deserve to be drowned.

edit: Oh, BTW, she thinks that it's also our fault if 'she' gave us an exam which goes over the curriculum because before an exam she says "Exam 1 or 2!?" and makes us choose a number(no, we dont get to see the exams or anything); then she thinks that is some sort of legal procedure and therefore causes unfair questions asked to be our own fault.

The way some teachers treat the students makes me suprised that more students don't go postal on them once they reach the end of their rope.

It was either that, or chronicle 12 pages of the Fatimid Caliphate under Saladin's rule.
