    Why the hell do people post their system specs in their sigs?

    IMO, it's really, really retarded; nobody cares.

    -Some version of MS-Dos

    To make sure there are nver any misunderstandings when code is posted. Also, it's usually just the compiler/ide the person is using along with their OS. Rarely do I see anyone else posting anymore than that.

    Regardless, of that, though, I agree that it's not all that neccessary.

    If you don't like it, ignore it.

    Though it does seem a bit out of place here. It makes sense in places like gaming, computer, overclocking, benchmarking, etc... forums. Places where the type of computer you have may actually be important.

    It's a miracle that I can still use my pc with the specs it has.

    I bet mine is WAY slower than anyone else's.

    Pentium 133MHz, 32MB Ram, 1Gb Hd.

    My post count can beat your post count to a bloody pulp. So can my 10ghz 2gig of RAM MOBO overclocked 10-base T w/ a Quad flux capacitor and EV700 holomonitor.
