Thread: High Schoolers - Techy Classes?

think your schools are cheap? the only classes the high school offers on computers is the "Computer Practice" class, which basically teaches how to use windows.

Yes, ignorance is bliss. To pay for these teachers, the schools need money. To get money, people need to pay taxes. And guess what, no one wants higher taxes. AKA, none of those classes you want in your school.

Well next year, we will get a proffesor from the community college to teach a Java class.
There aren't many people interested so he said he can teach us other things like APIs, etc.

Sounds pretty good, I don't know if they'll let me take it as a freshman, but I hope!

good idea, lets tax more people that cant afford. then they wont have to worry about bills anymore, they know they cant pay them to begin with. then the landloards will raise rent and more people will be homless. then being jobless is just around the corning. all so all even more money can be wasted. how about we fix the dam problems and give some people a break, its just going to be wasted now.

Again, the whole idea of a progressive income tax that you so despise would solve that problem.

the point is now one needs more taxes. while bill gates has plenty of money to blow how much do you think is going to want to part with? how about we insure the business we wont take a huge cut of their profits so with any luck they will create some jobs.

what would be nice is if we could come up with enought money to make more mediocre jobs. maybe if thats successful it could do away with welfair, in certain areas.

your plan would require no greed, something that just cant be done. while the other isnt perfect it apeals to greed, something we have alot of.

hmm...i think this thread is working out better that the other, o yeah, economy...the one thing that can be agreed on(assuming the military is told how much to spend, not what to buy. i cant believe that happened before.).

Then you don't "need" your classes and those people who can barely support themselves in the slums of cities do not "need" any help either then.

yeah, help them by taking more of their money. even if you say it taxing people besides the, your still hurting the economy. the still have debt to pay off and taking more money wont help. it wouldnt be so bad if there was some kind of boom going on, like the internet. then we could afford it. taxing will ether make or brake it, lowing takes will have some positive effects.
