hey mp5 don't they have like needle-less 'shots' that you can administer to yourself now? I thought I saw it on a commercial with a jazz guitar player who didn't want his fingers to be pricked.
You might be talking about the blood testing that requires one to prick themselves to draw a drop of blood and place it onto a chemical strip. I have heard of various methods that are are still being evaluated for this, maybe they are already in place already but I'm a bad boy because I tend to not check my blood sugar (I'm lazy). As far as the administration of insulin, there is talk of an inhaler version of this that would mean no more insulin shots, but again this stuff is still being tested I believe. Some people don't need shots at all, they can manage themselves with pills or just simply by careful control of their diet.Quote:

1) Diet Pepsi contains caffeine.
2) Caffeine is a diuretic.
3) Diuretics increase the water content of urine making it very pale/ colourless.
4) Because the body is losing more water than normal through the urine you feel thirsty.
Seems to me you have nothing to worry about, but if you are still worried try dropping caffeine rich foods and drinks (tea, coffee, cola, chocolat) from your diet for a day or so, if your symptoms do not abate make an appointment with the doc.
Actually...as much as it sucks, try dropping them for a week or so to give your body a chance to flush the chemicals... oh well, they aren't good for you anyway.
Well, I cut back on the diet pepsis (from 6 - 2) and have been
drinking water. My urine isn't clear anymore, it seems to be the
regular color.
hk_mp5..., if I'm not colorless anymore, I'm good, right? I'm kind
of unemployed right now (so what? Quit judging me!!!), so the
doctor-money isn't something I can spare.
Are doctors really that much over there? Don't you have health care insurance or something?Quote:

You're going to die very soon, get over it.

One of the mine sites I have been sent too has a colour code chart in the toilet so you can see if you need to drink more water.......
