    Gas prices

I live in Maryland and right now the prices are ........ing me off. esp. when I have to drive 20 miles to and from classes then another 15 to work. I wanted to know waht they were like around the US or where ever. Rightnow they are ranging from $1.48 - $1.69. And i know the people over in europe have to pay like $5 a gallon.

Anyone else ........ed about this, let me know.

    -Bill

P.S. and since we oblirated Iraq i thought the prices would go down. When is this suppossed to happen?

wow, we have about 1.80 i think, i didn't look at the gas station as i drove by today. I'll know the actual number by tomorrow. This is in CO.

But I think parts of Cali is still over $2. I guess I'm just used to Cali prices, so I would think what you are paying is fairly cheap.

Take the bus... It's cheaper, and you can read (or sleep) during
    your trip.

In the UK, prices are apparently going to get lower.

But even at 75.4p(estimated) per litre, that's still way more than US prices.

Just a month ago our prices were from around 1.90-2.20. The prices are little bit cheaper now ranging from 1.80-2.10. This is in AZ, btw.

if you can afford a car and insurance you really shouldnt be allowed to moran and groan about how much gas is

In Cali u need a car to do anything - McDonalds is 5 miles away and so is the gym...

I'ts about a $2.00 right now it got to be around $2.10 just a few weeks prior... it's begining to go down now though.

I think the fuel prices have done more than anything to ruin this economy - we've had a few spells that the gas dropped to $0.99 cents a gallon but that lasted only a few months and spiked back up to 1.50 or 1.60 a gallon...

first ammendment prohibits "congress" or the government from preventing free speech. It doesn't effect message board rules. certainly board admins can shut you up any time they feel like it because the first ammendment doesn't cover non-government censorship. so there!

We're paying around $1.50 for regular in N.J. I like my Toyota
Celica convertible. I really hope those dophers who insist on driving SUV's get the message this time around. But I doubt it.

$1.58 is the cheapest I know of in an approx. 200 mile range. Thank god it's at a gas station 5 minutes from my apartment

We can $$$$$ about gas prices all we want. When you're like me and drive 30,000 miles a year gas prices matter. They matter a lot. At approx. 30 miles per gallon, and at $1.50 per gallon I pay about $1500 a year for gas. If that's not worth $$$$$ about, I don't know what it.

How about when your 16, you have to pay for your own car, pay for your own insurance, pay for practically everything else, then on top of that try to find the money to afford paying for the outrageous gas prices, and the only way you can do any of this is by working all the F* time! So when I'm having to drop like $30 a week on gas I'm going to get ........ed off. I have every right to get ........ed; I don't have the money to afford giving all of my money away on gas. Even if I did have the money I still wouldn't be happy about having to do it. Maybe if you worked you could have enough money to pay for a car and insurance then lets see what you say about the gas prices.

sorry for the overreaction above lol...

hahaha maybe if i worked i could afford a car... what a riot.... no i think i will keep paying for my tuition instead(15k a year)...

and for the people who didnt understand me... if you have enough money to buy a car(~10k) and pay for insurance(~2k) how can you not have enough money to pay for gas(~1.2k a year)? and if you think gas is that expensive and you cant afford it, do what us university student do... take the damn bus

How about when your 16, you have to pay for your own car
if your sixteen and you have a car well, how many sixteen year olds have a car? do you really need that car?

I don't have the money to afford giving all of my money away on gas.

the only way you can do any of this is by working all the F* time!
and how do you think we pay for tuition?

its simple folks you want to drive your going to have to pay for gas no matter what price it is at. get used to it pay the bill and stop complaining at least you have a damn car...
