    I'm sure they didn't only train in Florida, and Florida is the closest to cuba. Got any more idiotic comments you'd like me to debunk?

    Troll king, that thing about the butterfly ballots was kind of below the belt, but I agree.

    you should visit Colombia, it would make you all go nuts (well, come here when things get a little safer in here), but I'ts definetly the most beautiful place in the world.

    mountains, deserts, rivers, lakes, snow, sea, beach, jungle, forests, paramounts, plains and much more in a place even smaller than... Texas!

    It's really cool (when it's safe)

    >>> It's really cool

    Much of Colombia I found extremely pleasant, however, I have to say Bogota struck me as a depressing place, (apart from the gold museum). The southern cities had some outstanding architecture, Popayan deserves a mention, and most of the coastal towns on the Carribean were great, Cartagena in particular, but Barranquilla was a bit dismal.

    I didn't ever feel overly threatened in Colombia. The only South American country I ever came near any trouble in was Venezuela when one of the guys I was travelling with was beaten up by the police!

    Not to you Magos. I was just playing around... trying to get under my superior's (Series X-ola 5.634.342) skin. Sweden is cool, as is most of Scandinavia.

    Don't take it to heart...

    At least you don't have to deal with the crap that we are going through...

    You've been in Colombia? (duh), oh, that's great!, why did you find Bogotá depressing? cause it's larger than most european cities and we have a little traffic problem? or was it the ... why did you find it depressing?

    Are you planning on coming back, if you do, I would like to meet you..

    >>> why did you find Bogotá depressing?

    It was dirty, dusty, litter blowing around the streets, cars either stopped in queus but pumping out copious quantities of fumes, or driving in random directions at high speed, cars that have to eventually be parked in compounds with armed guards. It was not possible to walk more than a few tens of metres before another guy comes up to you with a few pieces of broken beer bottle and gives you the full story of how he can sell these emeralds at these incredible prices, or a chunk of pyrite which he insists is gold. It was not possible to sit in a cafe for more than a minute before some guy comes over and sits with you, uninvited, and starts offering you all kinds of dubious services. Almost everyone I encountered there was trying to con me. Hassle, hassle, hassle.

    Try being a backpacking foreigner there, you'll find out!!!

    the wealth of one ore more countries depend on the poverty of others, but you should visit Ecuador, Perú, or Venezuela, and you'll find Colombia lovely, and once you get used to living here, it becomes nice
