    Question XP Refresh Rate

    Hi,

I have just got windows xp working, and when my screen refresh rate was at 72hz my screen was flicering and looked really bad, 72 was its default, i then put it down to 70hz and that killed the flickering and now it looks alot better.

Will this hurt my eyes more or anything on 70hz? Casue i cant see any flickering or anything at this rate. Or if it will how do i fix the 72 hz one.

I have the geforce 256 XP drivers installed, with a Samsung SyncMaster 531 TFT screen.

    Cheers

2 hz arent really going to make much of a difference (i have run at around 60 in the past)... just one thing have you downloaded the brand new detonator driver for the geforce yet from nvidia (version 21.83)?

PS. did you get your vortex working in the end?
