I took that class in college and I hated it. It's basically a proofs class. I got all A's in my Calculus/Multivariable Calculus classes in college but I think I scraped by with a D in this class. I just did not understand what the hell was going on. Avoid it if you can unless you LOVE doing proofs. Maybe you would have better luck, but I still sometimes have nightmares about that class. I remember a few buzz words: abelian, rings, groups and some such nonsense but that is all.

Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods."

lol, same here, I just took that class this semester. All A's in my math classes up until then (Calc 1-3 & Linear Alg), but did not do so good in that class. Luckily I realized I was falling behind and withdrew before it was too late. Do not take that class unless your a genius, or a masochist
Although I may end up retaking that class, I hate giving up on things and feeling like I wasnt smart enough to do something :/

Groups of sets, or was it sets of groups, cups and caps, and all rolled together into a matrix.

Same Story for me years ago- only D on my record! This is like the weed out class for math majors.
