    strange programs...

Anyone know a website where I can check what programs are doing? I am running windows 2000 at work and have just found processes named ad.exe, cc.exe, cp.exe and some other "dodgy" stuff. I'm kinda curious to find out what these do, because something makes explorer crash alot now.

Google.com is your answer. No matter what process my machine runs, if I type the name of the exe into google, im one hundred percent garanteed to find 100's upon 100's of links pertaining to it.

(it should be realized my posts are all in a light hearted manner. And should not be taken offense to.)

yeah tried that, but something like ad.exe is gonna be pretty common and hard to track the actual one you have running
