Well I have this book in my hand right now. It a good book and everything and it will get you to the point where you are familiar with Windows programming with mouse, text fonts, bitmaps, dialog boxes, etc, and many other concepts such as Unicode. My only problem with the book is that it is old! It came out about the time of Win98.
Since it is such a good book it is worth reading. It's about 1400 pages long, but I am anticipating the new book, 'Windows Programming With C#' by Pezold. Actually comming out in December, not November. I got that wrong in my other post. I was supposed to come out in November but is delayed one month.
