Does IRC fall under P2P as well? I don't like program like Kazaa
and such, It's too full of crap, Lots of fake $$$$, Bad speed, No
    resumes etc.

I dont have any P2P programs installed on my computer. The only reason I would use them for is to download music. I usually dont tend to trust people when I download .exe files, although some people I know find a lot of stuff on IRC and Kazaa.

All of the P2P programs that I've used have resume. As long as there is one or more people online with the exact file your trying to download, it will pick up where it left off

Getting the same file again is the tricky part, There seem to be a
hundred same file's with tiny size differences, That is, IF the ARE
    the same

I use p2p, my favorite one is Kazaa, supports resume, great speed, when it's bad I download 100+ and when it's good, 250+.
I found almost all the things I search on Kazaa, some people says, that Kazaa isn't a good p2p client, I tried eMule, finds everything I wants, but, the download, is very slow... maybe because the ratio, but thats ok, kazaa it's ok for me

People much to often assume that P2P is only kazza, mynapster, etc. Its not, any two computers sharing a connection, serial port, phone line, or otherwise, is a p2p network. So to say not to use them on the assumption of them having this above quoted problems is insane!

A peer is quite simply defined as a computer, a pc. This being said, any established transfer session, be it in IRC, AIM, ICQ, etc COULD be considerd a p2p connection. A Direct connection or private discussion on one of these chat mediums also falls here.

Any connection that connects two or more computers together is p2p, computer2computer, making ANY computer connection in a rough definition a p2p connection, so you can say dont use them all you want, but u may as well unplug any network lines or phone lines from your pc now, then.

I dont care what version of kazzaa you use, or how much they bold it and stress it, kazza lite contains spyware also, there are no if ands or buts about it. Research neworder or another security site, theres many articles and proofs of this, i just use regular kazzaa.
