How many of you out there have had a hard time throwing away your old, outdated computer parts, cases, boards, etc?
The other day I was about to throw away my old AT mid tower case, along with an ASUS Pentium I board and several other things.
I just couldn't do it!!!! Even though I probably will never use that case or board again, I just could not bring myself to throw it away. I also tried to throw away its old 550MB hard drive, but again could not. Man, I killed a lot of DOOM demons on that system and saved planet earth at least a gazillion times.
At one time they were state of the art and I paid good money for them. Plus they still work perfect, even though they are essentially useless. It just seems to me that they deserve a better burial than in the trash can.
Technology is so weird. One day you are paying top-dollar for it, and the next day it is trash. Not very easy to cope with.
So, my closet is cluttered with old drives, parts, boards, cases, etc., that I'll never use, but just cannot bring myself to part with.
Anyone else have this problem?
