    MSN Faker

    Ok,
I have finished the Fake MSN Messenger done with C#.. please try it and give me your feed back.... And now it is not illegal for some reason..(you will know after checkin it out.)...

I am not sure wheathe it will run on systems without .NET framework installed.. Any way give me your feedback..

    Thanx
    Vasanth

Note:- The zip file contains a rar file which contains the pogram( Had to do this since just ziping it did not bring it below 100 KB and the cboard would not accept a rar file.)

I already have the framework installed myself. No problems here.

Seriously, How did you made that? With something like VB?
Or did you use the MSN source with it? (i don't think the source
for MSN is availeble, But i'm still dazzled with how genuine it
    looks!). C# is impressive.

Yes i my self was amazed with what we could do with C#.. It provides such a rapid development platform... C# feels like a marriage between VB and VC++ in terms of feature.. Adn i had no MSN source.. but i built it with the already available icons and images in the messenger...

I still have to create Mouse over for the sign in button.. I did that but there was a huge delay, so removed it..

And the special key is F12 not F11 as it displays in the end..

Ohh looks like that the .NET frame work is not installed on your PC.. You need it to run Apps written using the .NET technology.. It is free.. you can download it from

    http://microsoft.com/downloads/detai...displaylang=en

The direct link to the file is http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...S/dotnetfx.exe

But it is 23 MB.. thats a lot.. But i think it is better yyou download it since many applications that will be released now will need .NET..(may be they will package it with .NET frame work in the begining).

so you can only play pranks on friends with .net framework? I don't have it installed either therefore I couldn't use it

I'm sure it looked nice however.

It doesn't look good on all platforms.

    You must use transparent backgrounds.

I'm using Windows XP with the blue theme.
