    Cool I'm a pimp

    I just got this laptop...here are the specs:

    HD: 20 MB
    RAM: 640 KB
    cdrom: none
    floppy drive: present
    1 expansion slot for RAM
    1 docking bay expansion slot
    1 expansion slot for an internal modem
    monochrome screen - 80 cm wide
    processor: 8086 (i think...and thats all i know about it really)
    OS: PC-DOS v3.3
    software that was pre-installed:
    Microsoft Works v1.05
    QBasic 1.1
    KeyCad
    Mouse Drivers
    software that i have installed:
    Turbo C++ 2.01
    the back of the computer contains:
    1 serial port
    1 parallel port

    I think if the software comes on anything other than floppy disks it probably wouldn't run anyhow with 640KB of RAM

    I wrote a 'benchmark' in my VERY early day of programming once
    in QBasic, It was bassicly a for loop. It ran almost twice as fast in
    DOS then in Windows98.

    I tried to do that on my 486 laptop and almost made the HD fubar.

    Right now I just run Linux off of a floppy, but you can't save changes and I don't have gcc for it.

    hey stop making fun of the lt, i love dos too. tried to learn qbasi for that reason(i loved the compiler!!) but qbasic was just a little compicated for me!!
