    Talking Check out my LIFE!

    Hi,
I have implemented the LIFE.. a game if i can call it.. Please try it out.. And post your coments and ways to improve it...

When you start the program the simulation i built is displayed.. I am able to sustain 350 and odd generations after which the organisms saturate... .. I have given the option of the user able to build his own starting point.. and also the option to modify the cells when the simulation is running...

And please post the number of max generation you were able to sustain...

    awaiting your coments...

errr. I have no idea what this prog is supposed to do but I got bored after generation got up to 1000, then I quit. Or at least I tried to. Wasn't sure what to do to quit so I pressed escape. It crashed and I had to use Task Manager to exit. It also has a bug when you get up to a 4 figure generation. When you restart again after having 4 figures, the last figure doesn't clear.

    Hope this helps

Excellent work! I was planning on doing my own life simulation (algthough without the nice GUI you have) but never got around to it. This has given me back my inspiration to give it a go!

I've seen simulations that go on for well over a thousand generations, I'll try and see if I can find them.

My generations went above 1000 when i stopped i because the
dots moved back and forth between the same position.

That is what happened to me.

every life simulation I've seen eventually ends up doing that.

I don't get it. What am I suppose to do?..

...am I correct in assuming that there is no magical princess that
    needs a savin'?

    Edit: A-ha! There's a readme file. I'll give that a try...

Edit #2: Hmmm. This "game" has the potential to bring back
terrible Biology memories from Jr. High. I don't think I'll continue
with it anymore. Good job, though. It looks rad...

Looks really cool, nice job. But I can't seem to get it to work, either that or I'm too dumb to figure it out
I am against the teaching of evolution in schools. I am also against widespread
literacy and the refrigeration of food.

Wll it can run a million generation but you wont see anything.. well click clear.(twice some times..) you will see the cleared screen.. then place your own cells and click start.. you will see the simulation..... If the cells you placed are in a good position you should be able to see the development of the generations for say 400 generations.... The begining screen you see is the demo i put in....

    Any sugestions to improve it...
