What To Do When You Encounter a Peace Rally

I think we all need some humor right about now so here is one of my favorite forwared emails. Enjoy.

What to do if you happen upon a peace rally by stupid naive hemp-shirt-wearing college idiots, to teach them why force is sometimes needed:

    1) Approach dumb rich ignorant student talking about "peace" and saying there should be, "no retaliation."

    2) Engage in brief conversation, ask if military force is appropriate.

    3) When he says "No," ask, "Why not?"

    4) Wait until he says something to the effect of, "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence."

    5) When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can.

    6) When he gets back up to up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would, "be awful and he should not cause more violence."

    7) Wait until he agrees that he has pledged not to commit additional violence.

    8) Punch him in the face again, harder this time.

Repeat steps 5 through 8 until they understand that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

    addendum to step 8:

    if(count >= 30)
break; //(because face is already broken)

    Step 10:
Run around him in circles yelling "WHEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

    Funny.

I hope you don't mind my asking this, but what would you do if the government reinstated the draft? I know I'm not willfully going to join the military.

LOL. On a serious note, if you were to really do that, I guarantee you'd be beat down by half the people there. Why? Because most people aren't supporting anti-violence; they're supporting anti-murder.

I don't beleive in killing, but if someone punched me in the face, his balls would be in a jar on my desk.

LoL, funny post. One of those self-nullifying scenarios. That is pretty cool. I don't think anyone will do that though...

If I'm not mistaken that is the badge of the United States Marine Corps Rangers.

    >United States Marine Corps Rangers

Aren't Rangers and Marines two different folks ?

    Looks like Marines, though.

Do you know these moments when you'd like to jump through the tv screen and strangle the guy talking there ? I saw pictures lately, an F18 in midair - refueling with a tanker, the moderator saying "... and here you see an example of the british/american alliance, a british bomber being refueled by an american craft". I'm neither a US nor british citizen, I have never been in the military, all my "education" in this field comes from games and novels. But even I could hardly miss the huge emblem on the "british bomber"s fuselage saying US AIRFORCE. How dumb can someone be ? This wasn't live coverage, this was a prepared report for the evening news... sometimes I think movies are better researched than todays media reports...

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

Was the refueling craft British? I'd heard on the radio that in the later air raids we'd been supporting the US bombers by refueling them.
Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself.

    ACK!!!!!!

Ok that emblem is for the United States Marine Corps.
The rangers are a special operations unit in the United States Army.

I didn't see that report so I don't know how accurate it was but if it USAF or anything like that it was British. After the first day of bombing when the UK deployed the cruise missles (One of my favorites) I haven't heard much of about their involment.
