Specially for eyes..
Does anyone of you take extra care for your health because of working with computer, any advice from doctor?

The knack of flying is learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
Most employers here will contribute towards an annual eye check, however, since that is in almost all cases free anyway, it is more a case of them reminding you to avail yourself of the service.

I do an eye check every 6 months, I already wear glasses.

I already wear glasses.
I think doctors are worried a lot about carpal tunnel syndrome. I haven't had any problems with it, I've been typing for about 8 years now, and thanks to good form and a simple wrist rest it's all good. I would recommend spending the bucks on an ergonomic board though, and even one of those trackball mice, or even one of the vertical ones. Take care of your wrists people, they are the death of programmers.

Let's talk about SAX
I like that site. I'm basically doing everything wrong, i.e I don't do cardio vascular exercises enough and I drink too much coffee.
Well I was concerned about my eyes, so I got one of those radiation/glare guards.
I never do any exercises, but I guess I should since I sit at the computer for far too long sometimes.

I need to start typing properly, i.e. the back straight, elbows 90degrees, etc. I think I might be starting to get tendonitis. hmm...this sux, because I'm still only in high school, and i look forward to majoring in cs. I wear contacts, don't know if it has anything to do with comps, maybe...
I need to do more eye exercises too so that my vision doesn't get worse.
Well, I'm going to start now, I actually started before, but I've gotten so used to bad habits, that I need to break them.
I can feel my eye's hurting at too high resolutions or too low
refresh rates. Remember kids, dont go higher than 1280x768 or
below 75 hz!!!!
My advice,
spend more time planning your projects ( away from your computer ).
Your projects will be done better and faster and you will be spending less time in front of the monitor ( therefore less risk of eye strain and other repetitive stress disorders ).
i already wear glasses, check my eye's every year....
so it's all good!
Also, one problem to sitting at the computer for long lengths of time day after day is blood clots in your legs. This generally happens to people who are older, but it can happen to anyone and blood clots will usually kill you when they work lose and get into your heart or brain.
I wear class for a long time recently, I went to doctor. He suggested me to take small break at least once in every hours. He also told me that computer programmers or the people work with computer do not close eye leaps regularly(20/min). It makes eye dry. He given me a drop to use and he advised Anti Reflection Lens.
