Denmark supports the US on IRAQ

I thought this was amusing, at least to the hostile attitudes some europeans have shown on this board. Apparently, your leaders think quite differently.

And it is interesting that the country to chair the meeting on disarmament is...

    Iraq

with co chair Iran. (as the UN does these things in alphabetical order)

    Interesting what you find on CNN;

"If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America. One power with a president who has no foresight -- who cannot think properly -- is now wanting to plunge the world into a holocaust."

    You think that is news?

<fx> walks away chuckling quietly whilst watching coverage of another big anti war demo in Washington...

i dont understand that, ya know, people in this country... they want to know how this directly effects them...like, "which family memeber of mine did he kill...oh no one? LETS PROTEST" one day the US is hellbent on war the next were split 50/50....saddam says stuff like

<<from old thread..look it up if you want>>
    Quote from Saddam Hussein
    Source: CNN World News

"The United States deserved Tuesday's(sept.11) attacks in New York and Washington as the fruits of its crimes against humanity."

and they want to know "what did he do to me" well in my opinion, the guy who bombed us is just as guilty as the guy who's cheerleading from the sidelines.

Now if you have criticism, learders will hear your voice but they actually dont listen. Well i cant say that evry leader is like that in many cases its not(thats why democracy is al about in the end).

So, because I don't support the war, I'm a terrorist? Take me away, then.

To make this more actual: there are a lot of Iraqi people against Saddam, but they are afraid to protest. They are afraid they get killed when they publicly protest against him. And I am afraid that they are right about that.

It has always been like this. It is very well possible for just a small group to control a large group of people. The same can be seen when a few terrorists keep a group of people together at some place. Ofcourse those people want to protest, but they are scared and often they have right to be scared. Saddam does the same with the Iraqi citizens, but on larger scale.

I really feel that the US should pull back all of it's military forces from the region. North Korea and Iraq are contained, they are not going to be able to wage war on their neighbours without tremendous outcry from the rest of the world.

That outcry would give the US the green light to act swiftly and decisively against their aggression with full approval from all of our allies. I would even dare to say that if either went nuclear in a conflict with their neighbouring countries, our allies would not oppose an ICBM launch to decisively end the threat.

The tremendous amounts of money being spent on these very costly military operations should be directed towards paying off the rising and alarming state deficits here in the US.

    OH YES WE WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the US nukes a country where do you think the radiation will go?

Think about how much petrol would cost when the middle east is a radioactive wasteland and its oil can't be used.
