I'ts just for self knoledge, not for any mischievous reasons.

As I recall, TSR was a technique employed under single tasking operating systems, such as DOS.

I don't believe it's something you need to concern yourself with under Windows (or other multi-tasking OSs). You simply need to launch a process which runs leisurely around a loop.

    >>> but appears invisible in windows or any other os?

Now how on Earth can anyone answer that? Come on, there are some radically different OS's out there, one size will not fit all.

TSR is a dead technology. On a Windows platform, yes you can get a program to launch at start up, even before the user logon if you are using an up to date version of Windows, and understand services, and yes, they can hide themselves. There are a whole bunch of malicious trojans/key loggers/pests/parasites that do just that.

So the answer is yes, now, why do you want to know?
