well guys are dorks... i guess then that i don't do it for that... oh i know... i do it to get my art clear... and all my ideas out... to stare at a changing screen and only having partial control over it's excesses... yeah... that's why i do it...
Making a program do cool things
Doing the neat little code
Learning obscure things most others don't know
Figuring out difficult methods used to do things
Finding bugs in code
Getting all of the syntax just perfect
Other (please note)
Getting The Babes

>>> I learn how to do the thing, but I can never remember what it's called...
Ain't that the truth, and of course, searching implies you know the wretched name!
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.
damn, changed my mind, my favourite thing is getting paid...
Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself.
...that's the best part.
Employing your intellectual capacity, or lack thereof in my case, on something useful.
It is to be expected that all of you are very familiar with the feeling of looking back on a problem that previously had you completely baffled after you've unveiled it. It's joyful.
It's truly amazing how something can go from incomprehensible to utterly obvious.
adios,
biterman.
Do you know how contemptous they are of you?
I like to know stuff other people donīt know, but I think that you cannot do programming and get the girls AT THE SAME TIME!!!
programming is too much time-consuming
but I also like to make the computer do cool stuff, thatīs why Iīm in DirectX programming, Communications and stuff
Oskilian
I love automating things, and i think in a very computer-logic oriented way, so therefor i really love programming. It's fun to try and code new and enginuitve stuff, and then skin the code down to the core and make is run faster than a man who has just been lit on fire.

It's all about the accomplishment...
ohh, and btw, oskillian, can you cut down your sig allitle? it's bigger than most of your posts.
> It's all about the accomplishment...
Yup. I agree.
the college credits and getting increbdible grades on the AP tests are also added plusses
aran, just so you know... taking one comp sci class for a major before college isn't going to help you as much as you'd think... if you really want to get ahead, you should be taking all of the other AP classes as well... which include [but are not limited to]: physics, biology, chem [if you have it], 1st and 2nd year calc, [and these are only the math/sci]... there's also lit/lang, european hist, american hist, and govt/econ... quite a bit eh? go ahead and get that sophemore standing if you really think you can... ooh, and spanish and all sorts of other foreign languages too... que buena!
