One universal programming language would have more downsides then benifits, imo. By the time enough programmers learned it for it to be widely used, someone would invent something new that the language couldn't adapt too, and it than in turn is a pointless obsolete language.

There shouldn't be any universal language, because the different languages give programmers the chance to choose the one they feel is more suitable, so they become more creative or at least the job of programming is made easier.

One single universally used programming won't ever be possible
i think. Simply because whe need different programming
language for different products. Whe can't write an high graphic
benchmark with assembly, but whe can't write a piece of very
fast code without using assembly.

There shouldn't be any universal language, because the different languages give programmers the chance to specialize in a language, making employers pay different coders to maintain old stuff and write in the language of the moment, so they become more creative or at least the job of programming is made easier.

The universal programming language is binary imo.
But that just proves the point of why so many different languages exist because in theory, you can make anything with binary but would you want to?

Everyone will learn and share knowledge of that one and work on it and with it. That would be faster development in programming language and software development industries.

Just use a common sense, man! There is no human( natural) language to be a universal language for the whole World even though English and Spanish seems dominant.

Same to the programming languages.
