    Powerball

I am not crazy about lotteries.

Basically it is a way to tax the poor. (I doubt Bill Gates buys scratcher tickets on any regular basis)

But when I saw that the Powerball was going to be around 200 mil, I got a ticket.

Now they are saying it could hit 300 million on Saturday. I guess that's another buck I'm gonna spend.

If I actually won- I wonder if I would be glad a year later or if my life would be worse because of it.

What would you do with 300 million dollars?

(I know you don't get the whole thing-- taxes, etc. But this is very hypothetical here- lets not get too bogged down in reality)

Now that's love for your siblings.

Depending on how old you are a couple mill may or may not cover college. (I'm assuming that's what you meant- though a money collage would be pretty cool now that I think about it)

I'd buy a house every time I looked around and thought "This place needs to be cleaned up"

i would hire a group of professionals to build me a 3 gHz computer with 1 gig of RAM and 1 terabyte of storage space. Then i would buy MSVC++ and whatever games i wanted...

I'd prolly buy a small island, after that, and buld a couple of houses for me and my friends. Then we'd hang around and party on our own island!

wow, that would be fun, now that i think about it...

hehe, this reminds me of something i saw on the internet on how bill gates should cut down on his spending (this was after MS took a big dive in it's stock value), one of them was "Try not to relocate more than one third-world country a week."

I would definitly quit my job!!! That would be the first thing that i do. Then i would pay off my house, car, and all those anoying little bills that life brings you !!! Then i would buy a couple of servers and a dozen computers and have network games @ my house every day!!! You are welcome here any time, just come on over (only if i win ).

But seriously with reality, i would quit my job, pay everything off, and go to colege. Then pay for my brother and sister to finish colege at any colege that they want. Invest a few mill and blow the rest!!!

Quitting my job would definitely be at the top of my list. It's hilarious how all these people say when they win $900 million or whatever "I love my sweatshop job - I'm gonna stay there". If I mad that much cash - I'd have people feeding me grapes - I sure as hell wouldn't be making tennis shoes. What would I do personally?

1)Quit my job (probably in a memorable way, like tossing my monitors out the window)

2)Buy, of course, the biggest, baddest, wonderfullest computer out there - replacing components whenever something even marginally better comes along. You can get a 50" Plasma display for only $11K! (and free shipping!)

3)Buy an island - pay to get T3's run out to it...

4)Transfer schools to somewhere fun, like MSU or something... Become a professional student... That'd be pretty sweet... Maybe I should go get me some tickets (I don't know if MI does powerball, tho)
