my friend is try to partition his drive to have linux and windows, but he can't seem to figure it out. he'll probably be showing up on here sometime for help. Is Linux easy to learn (is it anything like c++)?

And it depends on what he wants to do...if he just wants a decent-looking GUI with some programs, no sound, no internet, no printer support, no anything else support...then Linux shouldn't be hard at all to learn
Otherwise he'll become quite good with man pages and the -h switch.
