    Feel Guilty..

Today at the road corner the cops were checkin for two weeler papers and drivin liscence.. I forgot to take mine.. and would have had to pay fine.. As soon as i saw the cop.. i slowed down and when he came near me i sped away.. That poor fellow tried running with his big tummy..(Thats what my friend behind said).... I feel verry sorry for him.. and feel guilty.. What would you have done in this situation...

What if he has your license-plate? (can hardly image someone
ripping it off your car though )
Indeed that's pretty sneaky, can't you get fined for an action like
    that too?

Well i am not sure wheather he had time to writIit down.. But even if he did they rarely send a summon here.. if they do then have to go to court.. Plead Guilty and pay a fine.. Which i think will not happen.. It was a bike not a car.... I feel verr dull though....

After comin home i got all the papers and put it in my bag....

Could you have later provided proof that you had a license, like to the courts, and then have the fine cancelled? How much would the fine have been and would you have been able to pay it? Has this incident at least taught you to always carry your license/papers?

well the fine is in a way very nominal.. THough they would not fine me for lack of caryin the papers..(which is leagaly allowed).. The cops on the road would make a fuss about it.. Aks me to leave the vehicle untill i get it and so on... My house is around 10 KM from that place... Now i will always carry my papers...

    You didn't do anything wrong...

The only thing you're guilty of is forgetting to bring papers with
you. You have the papers, you just left them at home. You
shouldn't have to pay a fine for something like that.

And you live in India, right?... Yeah, I wouldn't have stopped for
Indian police, either. The things I've read...

And so you should feel guilty! That was cruel and surely worthy of a hefty fine if caught!!
