    Cell phones using Java

I know that some cell phones are using the Java technology, does anybody know how those applications are written, are they written in normal Java( like any other application ), and what's special about them?

At the java j2me site they have a tool u can download that Compiles and Emulates the phone you're writing the app for. Creating a simple game is probably the easiest with j2me.

    It's called the J2ME Wireless Tookit 2.0

    Wouldnt that be JVM?

    but as if you care....

I dont understand how you have come to hate Java so much..

In one of my classes there was a presentation on C and C++ used on cellphones, although they didnt give much info regarding it.

I imagine the could size would have to be pretty small for cell phones.
