    RE: Closed Threads (and why)

Regarding the recent rash of "my country" topics. I've closed everything I saw. Since I'm from Canada myself (the country being flaunted this time around) I thought I should be the one to do it. Nobody can claim discrimination this way. We dont need that kind antagonistic questioning that only leads to flames and insults.

I closed all threads active at this time that relate to the subject. I will likely continue in the future to shut down threads that are either flag waving or flag hating in nature before they can get out of hand.

If anybody has anything to say regarding the closure, they can PM me.

Now everybody go peace out and get along.

    Thumbs up

Okey dokey. Even though I didn't have anything to do with those threads, I think that replying to this thread is good. By posting this, I'm acknowledging that you dont like people making fun of Canada and such. Hooray!

Just to clear up a misconception: The threads were pro Canadian. But as I explained above, flag waving and flag hating, boil down the same dead end, flame ridden, discussions. I'll be closing topics with any kind of generalized hating or flaunting of a single country.

Well, when you fabricate ammunition from the air, it's pretty simple to keep going, isn't it?

Considering 2 or 3 of the closed threads were yours, or heavily influenced by your posts, I find this pretty funny...(err...that's how I remember it, anyhow.)

    >> i dont care how many times im hit, ill keep going till hes down.

For some reason that sounds like when you're arguing with someone and they won't reliquish their horribly twisted train of thought, and you just have to give up; then they think they somehow won.

    Anyhow...

    I love you, cheez

Um, guys... This thread is not an excuse to continue the type of thing that was the reason I closed those threads in the first place. I dont want this to spill over anywhere: I want it to stop. Feel free to continue by PM or a messenger. I ain't the Nice Police. Be as evil and offensive as you want... Somewhere else.

    Peace
