Polling the Public....How long have you used CP.com?

Every once in a while the administration here at CP.com likes to find out information about our users in a more controlled way that normal. So for the next couple weeks I'm going to be posting some of the same old user info polls that old hats are used to, I apologize for this. But we've had big changes with the usership here at the boards recently so...always good to find out.

How long have you used CP.com? Please note if you've used the site for a significantly longer time than the message boards.

    Thanks,

    Kermi3

I selected 1-1.5 because i have used the site for a while off and on since last year when i was debating wether to drop vb and get into c++. I had a few junk names on the board but i never really got into it because i didn't know if it was what i wanted to do. It wasn't until this september when i was secured a spot in c++ class that i established a name. Again it was a quick name that really has no point, but i'm still using it because of the no-name changes rule.

    Question

Um, Kermi, wouldn't it be more accurate to just look through the list of members and their registration dates to determine how long they've been using the C Board? I imagine that'd be a fun program to write

Sure that would work, but that doesn't tell as accurately who is actually on, not just posting, but on. A poll does because people see it and then answer.

It's been about two years for me, though I didn't use the site very heavily in the beginning. I only started using it on a more consistent basis.

I voted 1.5 - 3 yrs cause I was posting under Unregistered for a while just asking programming questions before I decided to create an identity for myself.

I registered in May of 2000... But back then I was known as "static."
I don't know how long I've been "ethic." Maybe a year or so...

I used a board Cprogramming.co.uk, which I'm not sure if this is the new generation of that or Im thinking of another site?

If this is the OLD site - it explains why I picked up with this so easily.
