    no offense but they've been doing lunix on xbox since bout two months after it came out.

    Not without hardware modifications.

    yesterday revealed himself as the donor of $200,000 that will be paid to whoever can make the Linux operating system run on an unmodified Microsoft Xbox gaming console.

    check slashdot.org Sunday's posts... it's actually only 100 grand... the 200 is split between the one with and the one without hardware mods... get your facts straight before posting next time...

    true... and you'd have an accurate answer there if the origional thread creater had specified that in the title. To simply get linux to run on the Xbox is a $100 grand prize... as stated.

    Don't take everything you read, even from a reliable source as being 100% correct all the time.
