    My first thread was on the old UltraBoard that used to be here. I came here for a little while, gave up/left, and then came back.

    my first thread was asking for a nice blone norweigan girl to spank me silly with high heels, but then i realized this wasn't the kinky fetishes website, but then i also saw how many people at this site were in fact getting laid so i decided to learn programming so i could get laid to (still hasn't happened yet, I must not be good enough @ programming)

    This was my first post. I had just started programming, and I'm definately MUCH MUCH better than I was over a year ago (look at the date).

    Now face master can also use cin instead of scanf, or can he? Maybe in about a billion years he will write a winapi program I'm just messing with you...I don't really mean any of it, I am not rude to dysfunctional programmers

    My first post was on the old Matt's Script Archive wwwboard script the site used to run. I believe it was "testing". Then I deleted it because it worked.

    Mine concerned an apparent memory leak within an extensively multithreaded file processing program. After a few back and forward trips, Sunlight convinced me that there was not a problem with my code, and so it proved to be.

    After a search this was the first posts I posted:

    http://www.cprogramming.com/cboard/s...=&threadid=785
    (Bragging around, geez... )

    LOL! My second post, seems like I haven't encountered stickies before (how could I be so stupid???)
    http://www.cprogramming.com/cboard/s...=&threadid=558

    This was my first real question:
    http://www.cprogramming.com/cboard/s...=&threadid=887

    I also posted a lot on the 'old' cprogramming.com forums

    <EDIT>
    First post: September 4 2001
    I've definitely improved, but since I've taken a C/C++ class before I found these forums I wasn't a total mofo.
    Hey, I even used int main in my first code here

    Yours are funny Magos

    BTW: anyone have the URL to the old board?
    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)
            *(1 << (value + 2)))
        ).real() < 0;
    }
