    Kermi! Your Saints!?

Kermi, what happened to your New Orleans Saints?? All they needed was ONE win between the crappy Vikings/Bengals/Panthers and they got none! Now no playoffs for them...

Of course, not that my Broncos did much better...

Ahh, my patriots. They won but the stinking Packers couldn't beat the Jets.

I was ........ed that the Falcons lost, but a Saints' loss salvaged my day and the Falcons' playoff entry. Watch out Packers! Mmmmm I can see it now, the Falcons become the first team ever to defeat the Packers at Lambeau Field in the playoffs. Woohoo!

And I bet the Broncos' QB might be Plummer. Well, at least that's word out here in AZ.

Luck wasn't on the side of the Broncos either... Played a total of two games against teams with less than 7 wins - one was the Super Bowl Rams when they were good and the other when they were ousted from the playoffs already - lost 3 games on last second field goals and another one when we were on the five yard line going for the win. Ah well, wonder who our QB will be next year once Griese leaves...

We don't get American football in Denmark, but I used to see a bit when I was living in England about 6-7 years back. From memory, this...

    >>> Woohoo! Go Lions!

... raised my eyebrows, the Lions were notoriously hopeless then.

I noticed there are some new names around as well, Panthers for example.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.

They are pretty hopeless now as well! Finished with the second worst record this year... Course, they beat the Saints! (Sorry Kermi, had to mention it!)

    > Course, they beat the Saints!

And the Bears, and... hm... their record indicates they beat someone else, as well. Oh yeah, the Cowboys, in the most boring game in the history of the world. They lost at least 3 games in a row by like 3 points... last second field goals, interceptions in the end zone (the first time they played the Vikings), etc....

    Go Lions!

Quote of the year which I heard on the radio:

"The Saints should have been disqualified from the playoffs altogether. I mean, seriously, they lost to Cincinnati."

Well, since I live in Jersey and love both the Giants and the Jets,
let me do my Jeremy/Chad strut for you all just one mo time.
Whoo hooo! Subway Super Bowl boys and girls. Live with it.

How long have I been a N.Y. Giants fan? Well, remember the
Giants-Colts (as in Baltimore) championship game that the tv people like to dub "The Greatest Game Ever Played?" I listened
to that game on my squelchy, staticy AM radio back in 1958-
back in the days when all home games were blacked out. If
the game had been in Baltimore I could have watched it. It was after that game that people began their loud clamoring for
televising home games, espeacially home games that were
sold out. Giants games were always sold out, and the only
way some locals could watch their heros was to car pool up to Connecticut, just outside the blackout zone, and rent a motel
    room with a tv.
Man, you watch films of that Giants-Colts game now, and you
realize those guys (Giants) wouldn't stand a chance against
the Saints ( sorry kermi) today.
    No. Wait. Don't hang up!

    This is America calling!

Ok so we lost to the 2 worst teams in football ok? We know it. We played down to out opponents, you don't have to rub it in do you? Geeesum it hurts guys! So for a pickme up I'll remind you that we beat the Bucs, twice and we also beat:

    Green Bay
    Pittsburg
    49ers

So we don't suck, we just choke....alot.

Anyway to save may heart, anyone see the game last night, the 49ers should be ashamed, getting ready for the playoffs oir not they should be ashamed.

Yeah, its too bad about the Saints, in all honesty I kinda like them and would have loved to have seen them in the playoffs. Broncos choked as well losing so many games they should have won, but also how about those Dolphins (my brothers favorite team) winning by eleven with less then 5 minutes to play, and then losing and getting ousted from the playoffs. Only a week after losing a late lead against the Vikings! Crazy year I tell ya!

Oh and to answer a point made earlier, I don't think Jake Plummer will come to Denver. I really like Plummer, but Brian Griese was thrown out for inconsistancy, and granted Plummer is playing on a crappy team, but he's almost the model of inconsistancy!

Hey, I'm not trying to promote Plummer or reason for his poor play, but the fact still remains that he might go to Denver. I guess the last game of the year the Denver fans were chanting Plummer, and Shannahan acknowledged Denver debating about signing Plummer. Plus, I think Plummer would do much better in Denver. Denver is a sort of team where most player should be able to excell.

As for the Saints, they had a lot of injuries to key players, but like everyone else has said they still choked. Those players need to step up and realize the importance of those games. Well, I guess they'll have plenty of time to heal their injuries now. But hey the Falcons choked as well (loss to Buccaneers, loss to Seahawks, win against Lions, loss to Browns all in their last four games), except one thing, the Falcons got lucky with the Saints losing!

Yeah, here in Denver theres a lot of talk of Plummer maybe coming over. Guess it all depends on if we can get somebody decent in the draft and if Beurlein stays.

I would love it though if Plummer becomes a Bronco, I think he would do very well with real receivers and an actual running game! Just hope his inconsistancy doesn't scare the town off considering how we feel about Griese right now...

BTW, guess I gotta root for a team in the playoffs. Go Falcons!!! Go anybody vs the Raiders!!!
