I really don't think BinLaden has anything against Microsoft, I think that someone else who doesn't like Microsoft did it and got away with it because everyone thinks that Bin Laden or some Afghan is doing EVERY anthrax attack

Okay, now Sunday's newspaper (Sunday, October 14, 2001) says that after a third round of tests the material in the envelope sent to the Microsoft Corporation office in Reno, Nevada, is actually anthrax.
We programmers know what to do now:
An attack against one software development group (even if it is the Microsoft Corporation) is an attack against software developers everywhere.
The next question: Are any of these anthrax attacks actually being caused by the various Islamic extremist terrorist groups? The U.S. government has not said al-Qaida, the Taliban government of Afghanistan, or any other terrorist organization is involved in any of these anthrax attacks last time I checked. I wonder if all this coverage of terrorism and biological warfare has given certain groups (e.g., those who hate the tabloid press, those who hate the Microsoft Corporation, and those who hate that NBC news anchor) a cover for their attacks. It's possible.
Plz give me a good reason why any terrorists would want to send anthrax (a treatable) disease to Microsoft? Are they trying to bring down the US economy? If so, they are doing it the wrong way. It would probably help the economy.
