    Programming Languages

    since everyone around here can program in C/C++ and others have programmined in a VARIETY of other languages that i have never even heard of,

    can anyone list ALL the languages they have heard od and possibly tell me what their extention is?
    *ie: java is .java
    C++ is .cpp
    html is .html
    resource is .rc

    but there are tonnes i never even heard of before, and im curious to know how many different languages there are.

    preferably languages that can be typed. (probably applys to all of them, but i dont know that)

    WOW,

    Those are a lot of languages. I vow, before I die, I will be able to fluently program in all of those languages. Yeah right. Id be happy with like 2%.

    uhhh...hehe, can someone help me pull out about 15 of those that are still popular and are able to code it in a regular text pad, and if it needs a compiler, to be able to type it out in a text pad and save it as the file extention and be able to import it???
