The Heisman should be Ken Dorsey. Ken should win it on the same basis that Crouch won it last year. Crouch wasn't the best player last year, but Crouch sort of won the award to honor his whole career. Dorsey wasn't the best player this year, either, but give him the award because of all of his career achievements. I don't think this should be the trend, but since there is no clear cut winner this year (as like last year) give it Dorsey. Dorsey has lead his team through nearly 3 straight season of being unbeaten!

The BCS isn't all that great, IMO. The Rose Bowl definitely should have been WSU vs Iowa. Nobody to blame but the Orange Bowl and their stupid selections.

On a side note, ASU was predicted to finish 9th in the Pac-10 but they wound up finishing 3rd and now have a trip to go to the Holiday Bowl...woohoo! Then again KSU is going to tear apart ASU.

But the Heisman's supposed to be given to the person with the best individual season, not the best college career.

I completely agree, but on the basis that Crouch got it last year, I think Dorsey should get it for the same reason.

I don't think so at all. Dorsey is going to be similar to Breese, IMO. He'll get drafted in the early 2nd RD. Then wind up turning into a decent starting QB within a year or two.

I sort of like the tradition of the bowl games, to tell you the truth, but a tournament might be what is needed to solve the problem of the national championship game. I just wish the BCS would take the top two teams then from there everything would fall into tradition (i.e. Pac 10 vs Big 10 in Rose Bowl) and then decide the at-large bids from there.

I think I'll be sick if Dorsey won it. True Crouch won last year but he had far less competition. I truly believe that there are at least 10-15 quarterbacks who could have won just as many games as Dorsey the last few years using Miami's system. I agree that the race is very close this year, I just don't think this tie involves Dorsey.

Now where would Iowa and USC be without Banks and Palmer? Nowhere near the BCS in my opinion. Larry Johnson is pretty good as well, but since all three are so close I'd give it to Banks since he had less bad games then the other two (only 1 way at the beginning of the season).

Carson Palmer was expected to be such an amazing QB! When watching him is freshman year I thought this was going to be true too. But because of coaching changes and other factores he didn't live up to much during his sophmore and junior years. Finally in his senior year he reached his potential. But even with winning the Heisman I'm not sure if his career will even be considered as much of a success as it was expected to be, which I don't think is fair. Carson had a great year, and I'm happy for him that he wont the Heisman. Now in about 5-6 months I'm going to feel sorry for him once he gets picked by the Bengals with the first pick in the draft.
