    IE6.0 Prob

Hey, I've been having this stupid problem for awhile now. Sometimes when I open up Internet Explorer 6.0, and then press [WIN+E] to open up Windows Explorer, Windows XP will stop letting me use the task bar. Sometimes when I click the address bar at the top, it unfreezes everything. But most of the time I have to bring out good 'ol CTRL-ALT-DELETE and close IE before Windows Explorer opens.
    I'm using WinXP Pro.
Anyone ever had this happen before?

Nope, but thats why I dont use Internet Explorer, but I dont know why that would happen. Does it only freeze when you open IE like that, or whenever you use IE?

You are better off with something like Opera, the best browser on the market.

Yep, gotta love Opera. I use it a fair bit, and my only complaint is the adverisements that come in the free version.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

*cough* you can get rid of them *cough*

I just love certain options with it, and I am trying to get away from IE and other Microsoft products, hehe.

Something I fogot to mention earlier, Im assuming it isnt RAM related, since you have XP Pro, you have a new computer?

    Nothing
We didn't get a new PC with WinXP, we just upgraded this one.

Oh yes, I'm not the only who uses this, and some members would be disgruntled if I changed to Opera.

Well you could just download it and use it for your self and let them use IE. Just don't make it the defult browser.
