After months of delaying and prognostication, TeleDanmark told me two weeks ago today, i.e. 14/11/2002 that my broadband would be working within 14 days i.e. today, and that I would get a letter within a couple of days to tell me exactly when.

Today I get a letter saying they are glad to announce that my broadband connection will be working 8/1/2003.

What a bunch of total criminals. This level of "service" would simply not be tolerated in many other countries. Makes me mad that we have no choice but to be treated like this by the cursed powers that be that "look after us". Damned bureaucrats.

CGawd: Magos wrote it dd/mm/yy, so its activated January 8th, 2003, not august 1st.

First date: Since there isn't 14 months in a year, it has to be dd/mm/yyyy. And I'd assume that he uses the same order in both his dates.

Plus, it's more logical to print the dates in a increasing or decreasing order (day < month < year) instead of mixing it.

Right, Blue Ridge said that they would have Cable through tanglewood two years ago, by the end of the summer. Now no one knows when they will get around to it.
