    About 120 - 125mph. That's definitely 3 telephone poles every 2 seconds.

My dad once got a speeding ticket for going 1 mile over the speed limit. He decided not to pay the fine because he was moving out of the state. Come to find out later there was a warent out for his arrest. Now that sucks!!!

I got a ticket for making a right turn on a green light. Stupid Motorcycle cop wasn't paying attention while riding in Between the lanes and almost hit me so I ended up with a ticket for not signaling - even though I turned right behind another vehicle, I was only going 7mph.

I live in California, Los angeles and they these bastards are all over the place. I live in a good neighborhood and every major street has 3 motorcycle cops within a 2-mile area plus those friggin Radar trailers they park on the street. They got a million cops on motorcycles handing out tickets and just 10miles away they got gangs terrorizing entire communities that complain that there are not enough cops to patrol the streets. Yeah, they don't have enough cops b/c they're all over in my neighborhood handing out tickets - California govt. sucks ass. And they wonder why noone likes the police.

I said thats the fastest I've been caught... But yes, thats kph. My cars speedometer is mph (and wrong ever since I put new 14's on instead of the factory 13's), so I really have no clue how fast I'm going. I have to convert my speed by 1.81 (calculated the k to miles, as well as the adjustment for tire diameter change). Its too much thought while your driving. "Well officer, I wasn't paying attention because I needed to know how fast I was going... Ya, thats right, it was 180 k! How'd you know?"

I didnt think that ticket was very fair though. I had three lanes on a one way highway, it was 4 am on a wednesday so there wasnt a car in sight. Its not like I'm reckless... just fast. The cop chased me apparently for a couple miles without his lights, thinking I was going to run. So I'm going up the offramp, (oblivious) down to a decent 30 mph, and suddenly *blam!* lights, sirens, police car whizzing past. Just about crapped myself.

I'm not one of those stupid speeders flying between traffic downtown. All my tickets are usually late at night on open roads.

Yes, I try that too. But its hard to run over those bloody Ford Taurus things they're always inside. I need a big truck... *looks around for Deans phone number*

That's good. Where I live, about 2 miles away from me, there's a road that's a farm road. It has maybe 4 roads splitting off from it, but you can see ALL of each of these roads to notice anything that would matter(a car pulling up to the intersection say). So, from a distance, you can tell and SEE if anybody will be wanting to pull out as you see them coming long before they get to the stop sign. This road is completely flat and straight just like a runway for 5 straight miles. Hell, it goes PAST a runway along with 3 farms and a large seedmill. Basically, you could unleash a lamborghini on this road to it's full potential and HOLD it's needle burried for probably 30 seconds....maybe. 5 miles @ 100-105mph goes pretty damn fast. Double the speed limit = driving time / 2

fastest lamborghini I know of goes 240 mph/380kph

    240 / 4 = 60
    So, 60mph x 4 = 240mph
That car can go 4 times the speed limit
    ghini driving time = 5 minutes @ 60mph for 5 miles / 4
double the speed limit = a telephone pole every second
lamborghini = 4 times speed limit, so 2 poles per second

You could probably hold an unleashed ghini on this road for a hair over a minute seeing 2 telephone poles every second.

    ....crazy

    > It was a ritzy suburb and I was driving a chicken wire Gremlin. I'd've been pulled over anyway.

Don't suppose it was in a ritzy 'burb on the SE side of the state with an excess of trailing e's in the title, was it?

    Nothing compares. Absolutely nothing.

But, what else out there has a $250,000 price range?
