When you were 15 (like me) what did you want to become when you grew up and what are you now?
When you were 15 (like me) what did you want to become when you grew up and what are you now?

I'm 15 right now, and I want to either become one of the few competent computer teachers :P or an actual programmer.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah
You. Fetch me my copy of the Wall Street Journal. You two, fight to the death - Stewie
Ever since I was a child I wanted to be an architect. It came around to apply for university, I still had it in mind. I then thought something in the computer industry would be better, so with very little knowledge in programming, I applied for Computer Science.

when I was 15, I wanted to be a professional webdesigner... now I want to be some sort of programmer
When I was 15, I wanted to be a rock'n'roll guitarist and to marry my first love, Alma. Never did either. Back then, I had never used a computer, didn't know what a programmer did, and the internet didn't even exist! (well, not this kind of internet at least)
Pretty sad huh?
Code:#include <cmath> #include <complex> bool euler_flip(bool value) { return std::pow ( std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)), std::complex<float>(0, 1) * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0) *(1 << (value + 2))) ).real() < 0; }
I've always wanted to become a programmer, and now I'm studying computer sciences.
When I was 15 I wanted cash
When I was 15... hm... I was still in school, not even able to get the classes I wanted. We could chose classes for the final exams by year 11 of 13. When I was 15, I must have been year 9 or 10. I knew I wanted to do something logical. Something involving math. I'm not sure I was fully aware there was a life outside school *g*

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."
When in doubt, read the FAQ.
Then ask a smart question.
You hit the nail right on the head.When I was 15 I wanted cash
Code:#include <cmath> #include <complex> bool euler_flip(bool value) { return std::pow ( std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)), std::complex<float>(0, 1) * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0) *(1 << (value + 2))) ).real() < 0; }
I was lost, had no clue where I was. I was unsure of my friends even though they werer there, and I was unsure of myself. I was also quickly becoming set on going to the Air Force Acadamy. Now I am sure of my friends and myself, and well, I'm not @ Air Force (or any other military school) But if i said much else I'd lose some of my mystery wouldn't I?
