    i have 3 cousins that work for EMC, a datastorage company. They build servers that hold several terabytes (at the time the largest was 7.1TB). That's crazy. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to maintain those? I.e if you have a server that holds 7.1TB you know you are going to have at least about 40 individual drives that make up the unit, and depending on how it is set up you have to fix the entire system if one of the drives fail, although i'm sure they have some kind of raid set up to guard against possible data storage melt downs.
