    Video card drivers

    how are videao card drivers coded ? is c used to do this ?

    drivers have to communicate directly with hardware (99% using assembler) then they must provide an interface to the operating system, which can be written in a higher level language.

    Go to microsofts web page and search for DDK (driver development kit) and it will give you all the info you want for making Windows drivers.
