Thread: My hate list

My current hate list stands as follows:

• My parents: For making me do stuff when I'm quite happy in my room doing my own stuff. I'll study when it suits me.
• My sister's boyfriend: For pretending to be my friend. Why doesn't he just ........ off.
• My 2 sisters: For getting everything they want when I get nothing I want.
• Most of my teachers: For knowning nothing that all and telling us to not smoke/drink with a cigarette in their hand and a mouthfull of beer.

Though, I'm not one of those weirdos who has no friends and sits there mumbling in the corner. Just wanted to let this out. I'm really ........ed off.

Don't ever say that you hate your parents. Hate is a strong word and your parents are just looking out for you and want you to do well in school and life. Listen to them and do your homework.....do it as soon as you get home so that you can have the rest of the night to do what you want.

It's the teachers' jobs to tell you not to do things that you're not old enough to do. They're allowed to drink and smoke because they're of age....when you're 'of age' then you can do it all you want also.

All kids think they know what's best for themselves at a young age and think their parents and teachers don't know crap. I was that way in some ways but pretty much abided by authority figures. Have respect for your parents and teachers because they do what's best for your future. You'll realize this when you are an adult and can look back on your childhood. Trust me....

Not everyone has good parents. I'm VERY glad I didn't listen to mine very often.

I feel for ya Face_Master. Same thing with my two sisters when I was younger.

A definition of a good parent varies from person to person. If they're giving you a roof to live under, putting food on the table, and caring about your future then I would consider them pretty decent parents.

Why are they bad parents? Some examples?
What things do your siblings get and you don't get?

Your room, eh? You bought it then? I'm gonna guess not How about being thankful you have parents, and that they're nice enough to look after you.

Once you've finished studying hard, you can get a job and move out into your own place, then you'll have peace. But then, you won't be able to sit around playing on your PC as much, you'll be too busy doing chores, like washing, cleaning, cooking, shopping.... all those things your parents (probably) do for you right now.

One day you may even have kids of your own, and believe me, you'll make sure they do what they're told, especially when it comes to homework. Why? because it's the right thing to do.

i agree parents need to know when to not bother their kids.

What if your dad does all those things, but comes home drunk 6 nights a week only to scream and smack you all night? Then when he's not drunk, (rare) he tries to make up for it by buying you things.

Your Mom stays at home all day eating Vicoden and Oreos while she makes you do all the chores while she gets fatter and fatter.

4point5, those are definitely not good parents.....I put in there 'pretty decent' because I know that there are kids out there in that situation. It's not a good situation and you definitely need to talk to someone about it....seriously.

As a parent I'd have to say kids often need advice and shouting at. For example:
After politely asking 5 times for some dirty clothes to be picked up off the living room floor and either being ignored, or having the clothes picked up and dropped on some other floor, a little shouting is necessary. Especially when same kid then complains they have no clean clothes (none of which they've paid for or washed).
If you want to live by your own rules, don't depend on your parents for food/shelter/clothing/money/etc. And don't blame them if your independence isn't all you thought it'd be.
Parents aren't perfect, some are really bad, but most have a better handle on things than teens/adolescents.

he may hate his parents. and yes he may have good reason. Some of my friends have great reasons to flat out hate their parents, it's a horrible situation. So dont' judge the guy until you know him.
