"I didn't say that god couldn't work wonders for people
    belonging to other religions."

But thats thing, he isn't, there are always explanations just like the cancer patient, the hookers in Cairo who can't get AIDS, the weather, meteors, look at history man, people insert supernatural as an answer to unsolved problems, BUT INVARIABLY there is a real answer.

Why do you think it is that science does not acknowledge supernatural events? There is not a scrap of evidence that they actually occur.

"See with your eyes, hear with your ears, and understand
with your heart." Science trys to understand with their
    eyes."

    What utter drivel.

Understanding comes from your BRAIN, understanding something with your "heart" is beliveing what FEELS right, and as has been shown countless times it does not work.

    What?
I don't have time to search through Josephus to see what
he says. But due to the nature of this topic, it's of the
utmost importance to read the orginal sources.
Of course an aithest paper is going to say the people of
Rome were mystics and the same could be said of the people
today. Just look at any tabloid. Whether you believe it or not,
christianity seperated itself from the mystics.
The message is totally contradictory to divinars, idolators
    and the like.

But that doesn't mean it isn't evidence. It's not proof though
I agree that it can be construed as small evidence, BUT if it is the ONLY evidence than it is next to worthless. This is aimed at Sentaku consistently using the bible as his only proof, even using the bible to proove the bible!
I didn't say that god couldn't work wonders for people
    belonging to other religions
Who's to say it isn't the god Ra working miracles for Christians? Yet you seem to be able to claim these miracles for the Christian god? What documented miracles in the last 50 years (and that weren't witnessed solely by Christians) still lack any scientific explanation?
There is a large collection of written miracles in christianity.
This will give you more information on miracles.

Errr... you mentioned Christian miracles happening in other cultures outside Christianity, but the link you provided just gives a definition (although a VERY LONG definition) of what a miracle is and its only examples come from the bible...

Doesn't make it any truer though.

I actually tricked you into reading it? Now if you would
read all of links at this site...

Sentaku, when will you understand that anything written in the bible is NOT proof? Hell, only a few weeks ago you were telling us that you believed in the Hermatica which says explicitly that Moses wrote the first five chapters of the bible based off stories and Egytian myth! And now you are trying to use what he has written as proof of god?
No, I stated that there releated, and I I was talking about the beginign of genesis. Do you understand just because it's writen in the bible does not disquilify it.

    Answer this question:
Many many religions have books that show miracles and wonders that THEIR god did, yet you do not believe them. Why not? Egytian writings speak of miracles performed by their gods, such as the God Ra blocking out the sun, yet you don't believe this either, why not??? And simply because people believe the bible now but don't beileve in Egyptian gods now is NOT an answer.
Consider the fact that a single god was tried in egypt and the idea was changed back after a single ruller. King Tut's father, Amenhoteb IV decided that Aten was was the only god. This ended after he died. In other words the idea of Monotheism was not very populer at this time.

Second if you actuly had some history you would now that the rules that God gave the isrelites were radicly diffent then what people belived then. Witch is better having no rights for slaves or giving them some rights? How about the treatment of woman? No there not the best by are standards but guess what radical changes of thinking take time because Humans are stuborn.

Third ever notice that most myths have a once upon a time feel. In other words these stores always happend some time in the past. On the other hand Moses wrote about manna falling well the people were still alive ate manna.

God, why do you keep saying this? It is not whether sometihing could have happend, or whether its been disqualified or not, its about what is most likely to have actually occured given current knowledge. Current knowledge suggests any supernatural explanation for _anything_ is most likely to have not occured, especially when there are perfectly plausible non-supernatural explanations.

Actually, if its written _only_ in the bible, and there are no external sources that back up any of its claims, then it is pretty much completely disqualified for that fact alone.

    >Consider the fact that a single god was tried in egypt and the idea was changed back after a single ruller. King Tut's father, Amenhoteb IV decided that Aten was was the only god. This ended after he died. In other words the idea of Monotheism was not very populer at this time.

What does that have to do with anything?

Again, you have not answered the question. Further, I fail to see how any of this relates to what was asked.

If you are going to try to make an argument, please make sure you explain how the information you give relates to the questions asked

The incredible is what gives religion its credibility. If not for
miracles, what proof would we have of Jesus' divinity? Without
the miracles, he's just another human being being who puts
his robe on one arm at a time. That's true of any religious leader,
be it Moses, Jesus, Muhammad or anyone else. They ALL were
    miracle workers.

As Clyde has stated, near-death experiences can be explained by science (just watch TLC!)

    i am god.

It's true, you know. Don't try to pretend I'm not.
